Doris Moriba, the President of Young Women in Governance in Kenema District, has pledged her commitment to Sierra Leone’s Medium-Term Development Plans. In an interview with Aim Net, she expressed her dedication to advocating for the empowerment of women and girls not just in Kenema District but throughout the nation.

Doris Moriba’s commitment aligns with the President's Five Big Game Changers, focusing on empowering women. She emphasized her determination to support women and girls in their quest for equal opportunities and rights in Kenema District and Sierra Leone.

Doris Moriba has actively participated in numerous seminars to promote and advocate for the inclusion of women and girls. Her efforts have been focused on encouraging women and girls to take on responsibilities and participate in key decision-making processes within their communities and the country.

 Emphasizing the need to empower women and girls, Doris Moriba aimed to contribute to the goals outlined in Sierra Leone's Medium-Term Development Plan. She believes that by mobilizing women and girls and ensuring their active involvement, the country can achieve transformative changes in food and human capital development, job creation, and overall national development.
