MINISTER TIMOTHY KABBA MEETS WITH KINGDOM OF MOROCCO'S FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has held a productive meeting with his counterpart, SEM Nasser Bourita, who doubles as the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco, to discuss issues relating to their nations' development.

The two officials discussed pertinent ways to strengthen their respective nations' bilateral relationship and cooperation, as they have had strong diplomatic ties over the years.

In their submissions during the meeting, the two Ministers, Minister Timothy Kabba and Minister Nasser Bourita discussed key issues concerning trade, Security, energy, and cultural exchanges. They both expressed commitments further to enhance the long-standing relationship between the two countries and find ways of exploring new avenues for mutual cooperation.

On his part, Minister Timothy Kabba of Sierra Leone stated that the meeting was very important and timely in mapping out ways to deepen the partnership between Sierra Leone and the Kingdom of Morocco. He emphasized the relevance of working together to address common challenges and used the opportunities for mutual benefits. From the Kingdom of Morocco, Minister Nasser Bourita echoed the sentiments. He expressed his government's commitment and eagerness to strengthen strong ties with the Republic of Sierra Leone and also collaborate on key issues of both Regional and Global importance. He assured that his country is always prepared to support Sierra Leone in the plan to go by international standards and match with other developed countries.

Conclusively, the meeting between Minister Timothy Kabba of the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Kingdom of Morocco, SEM Nasser Bourita, was seen as productive and geared towards the positive development of the two nations. Both leaders expressed optimism about the future of working together and pledged to continue working as one towards achieving a common goal.
