HON. KALLON DONATES CHAIRS TO WILLIE HUNT MODEL HIGH SCHOOL IN PUJEHUN

In a remarkable effort to promote President Bio's vision of providing a Free Quality Education Initiative in Sierra Leone, the Honorable Member of Parliament representing Sorogbeima Chiefdom Hon. Hawa Akpaji Kallon, has generously provided a substantial sum of eighteen million old Leone for the production of over 150 wooden handle chairs for the pupils of Willie Hunt Model High School in Fairo Town Pujehun District. The donation ceremony attracted hundreds of stakeholders, pupils religious and traditional leaders, and the press.

Addressing all at the school grounds, Hon. Hawa Kallon said as an indigene of Sorogbeima Chiefdom representing them in the well of parliament,  their problem is her problem and that the act of generosity had not only improved the physical environment of the school but has also demonstrated her commitment to uplifting the lives of her constituents she represents.

With heartfelt prayers for her continued success, the Wille Hunt model secondary School, community would continue to receive future support, hoping that as more individuals step forward to invest in the educational sector,  the more the merrier for the future of the pupils. Recognizing the importance of quality education for young pupils, she felt that the donation was a small gesture to show her support for the pupils and the community but further promised to do more.

As the pupils of Willie Hunt Model High School embark on their educational journey with improved seating arrangements,  she said such a move would inspire others to contribute to the development of education in the district and propel the nation further towards socio-economic growth.

The Board Chairman of the School Augustine Jah Zoker,  expressed his profound happiness and gratitude for the donated items for pupils. He acknowledged  Honourable Hawa Kallon for her bold step in supporting education in the Chiefdom. He emphasized the significance of such contributions in enhancing the learning environment for the pupils. He confessed that Hon. Kallon is complementing President Bio's flagship initiative for free quality education which has garnered widespread support from various stakeholders. Hon. Hawa Kallon's contribution serves as a shining example of the collective effort required to achieve this noble goal.

‘’ It is through the collaborative endeavors of individuals like MP Hawa Kallon that the nation can progress towards a brighter future, empowering the youth through education and creating opportunities for their success chairman Zoker stated’’, he said.

The Board Chairman remarked that the chairs provided would greatly benefit both pupils and teachers and promote a more conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning. In a show of gratitude, the chairman fervently prayed for the continued success and well-being of the Honourable Hawa Akajie Kallon for considering their needs.

Samuel Monina Conteh, the Principal of the Willie Hunt Model High School in Fairo,  described the donation as timely. He assured everyone Present that the chairs donated would be well-maintained and used for their intended purpose to benefit the pupil’s educational pursuit.

Principal Conteh also expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Honorable Hawa Kallon for her remarkable gesture and for recognizing the positive impact it would have on the pupils’ overall learning experience.

Mohamed Massaquoi a beneficiary, reflected on the positive impact of the donation. He extended his heartfelt thanks to the honourable Member of Parliament for recognizing the importance of education and providing them with a much-needed resource. Massaquoi expressed his excitement at the improved learning conditions and hoped that more individuals would follow honourable Kallon’s example in supporting educational initiatives in the district.

The distribution of the monetary donation marked the climax of the occasion with MP Hawa Kallon ensuring that the funds were allocated appropriately to produce the chairs to President Bio's vision of providing free quality education for all.
