HARBOUR POLICE DIVISION CONDUCTS FIRST MEETING WITH LPPB & ZPPC MEMBERS

The Local Unit Commander of the Harbour Police Division, CSP Emmanuel Kpulun, on Saturday, 13th January 2024, at the Ross Road Police Station, conducted a meeting with the various chairmen and members of the Local Policing Partnership Board and the Zonal Policing Partnership Board to discuss security related issues within the various communities of the Harbour Police Division.

In his opening statement, the LUC thanked all members in attendance for their unwavering support and active contributions to helping the police in their communities safely. He appealed to all members to be apolitical. Also, he encouraged the chairmen to formulate a good work plan that would help the police to provide security for their communities successfully.

The LPPB Regional Secretary General of Freetown-East, Mr. Melbourne Greene, stated that only active members would be provided with the new LPPB Identification Card. He also urged the various community chairmen to start submitting monthly security reports for their community.

The LUC concluded by encouraging all members to participate in the upcoming community peace and nonviolence sensitization, and prayers were offered for the late Chairman of Mount Aureol/ LPPB Vice Chairman Two, Desmond Turay. May his soul rest in peace.
