DIPLOMATIC STAFF DECLARED WANTED FOR ALLEGED INVOLVEMENT IN NOVEMBER 26TH ATTEMPTED COUP D'ETAT

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Sierra Leone Police has declared Bobson Elvis Pamley wanted following the November 26th, 2023 coup d'etat that claimed the lives of many citizens, including soldiers. Police sources told our reporter that some suspects in police detention implicated a Local Staff of the United States Embassy in Freetown. According to an anonymous police investigator, Bobson Elvis Pamley, the US Embassy staff, and three others were allegedly aided and abated by some opposition coup Planners to overthrow the government of President Julius Maada Bio.

Sierra Leone police have mounted a serious investigation into the attempted coup d'etat that caused the brutal killings of many military officers and other compatriots.

Police sources alleged that Bobson was a collaborator to the coup and played a major role in the attempted overthrow that claimed several lives.

The fugitive, our reporter revealed, is a U.S Embassy staff attached at the Freetown International Airport, and most of those arrested by the police said the latter financially the alleged coup d'etat.  "The accused alleged that Bobson provided accommodation and food for the Coup Planners," an anonymous police officer told our reporter and added that during police interrogation at the fugitive house, there was nobody.

The source maintained that Bobson may have escaped with his family and sought refuge in a neighboring country.
