One of Sierra Leone's leading GSM Mobile Operating Companies Africell has handed over a brand new car and a TVS motor Bike to winners of the ongoing MEGA-PROMO lottery that was launched by the company in Kenema District Eastern Sierra Leone.
This came as a result of the company's ongoing promotional program, the "Mega Promo" for its subscribers within the country. This program which is scheduled for six months has attracted not only the company's subscribers (users) but also other GSM operating companies in the country after the company lines six brand new cars and 24 TVS Motor bikes for its subscribers who will be fortunate to win the promotion.
Speaking with the winners (subscribers) of the promotion, Sheila Hassan, a petty trader, who is one of the fortunate winners of the ca, expressed how she felt after receiving a call from 777 that she had won the "Mega Promo" a brand new car and she must be at the company's regional office at Hangha Road in Kenema for further clarifications for onwards handing over.
Sheila continued that she couldn't believe what she heard at that moment until after two days a strange number called her to urgently report at the company's regional office to receive her car.
"Until this moment, I still don't believe that a petty trader like me, I'm now a car owner. But again I can't question what God is capable of doing. I want to express my profound gratitude to the management of Africell in Sierra Leone for changing the story of my life. I also want to encourage all traders, family members, and the general public to constantly use Africell facilities and always partake in all promotions launched by the company and see what God can do for them", Sheila said.
In his testimony, the TVS Motor Bike winner, Mussel Alpha, stated that he was only listening to the radio during the company's promotional program hour, after which he started following the due processes by recharging Nle10 every day. "I have been playing the Mega Promo lottery every day, there are some days that I will play up to five or six times and there was no day that I felt discouraged about the lottery".
"I'm very happy and thankful to God that today I have been lucky to be a motorbike owner. This is going to empower me and boost my daily activities to take care of my family and I. I say thanks to Africell for this wonderful opportunity and pray that they continue to excel in this country", he said.
The two winners (subscribers) thanked Africell and the regional management for their kind of support to their subscribers within the country.
During the handling-over ceremony, the company's Regional Marketing Manager Mohamed T Bayon, stated that Africell is always set to give back to its numerous subscribers (users) at all possible times. Bayon appealed to Sierra Leoneans who haven't got their Africell sim to join the Family and enjoy the services offered by the company.
The subscribers (users)of Africell according to Bayon, that haven't benefited or won anything from all promotions, to please continue following the due processes, by recharging their sim cards from Nle1 and above every day, so that their numbers would be fortunate to register in the "Mega promo" system. He made known that with Africell, no one is a loser.
This handling ceremony which took place at the company's regional office at Hangha Road Kenema brought together all staff from the company across the region and other dignitaries across the District and the Region and the media.
